About

Hi, I’m Harley

A developer who grew into DevOps and cloud architecture, and now builds AI workflows and agentic systems.

I’m Harley, a Solutions Architect in Southern California, and I’m a developer first. I’ve been writing software since 2007: PHP sites, custom business apps, ASP.NET MVC, then Angular and .NET across large enterprise platforms.

Shipping software led me into DevOps, with build pipelines, containers and observability so the things I built stayed up. That grew into architecture: designing cloud-native, distributed systems on Azure. These days my focus is AI workflows and agentic systems, where the same engineering habits (small pieces, clear contracts, good telemetry) matter more than ever.

Away from the keyboard I’m a husband and a dad of three. I tinker with robotics, and I snowboard and skateboard whenever I can. I used to teach snowboarding for a living, which turned out to be good practice for explaining complicated things simply.

Beyond work

  • Family

Husband and dad of three. The best, loudest and most rewarding project I’m on.

  • Robotics

A perpetual tinkerer who loves making machines move.

  • Snowboarding & skateboarding

On a board whenever I can. I used to teach snowboarding for a living (AASI Level 1).
